The DATSU MODE “乙” (Otsu) Can Cooler is now available in Japan, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia and Australia.
In Japanese, otsukaresama (お疲れ様) acknowledges someone’s effort at the end of work or another shared activity. Its lighter, casual form is otsu (おつ). In Japanese online conversation, people sometimes write it with the same-sounding kanji: 乙. That is the mark we put on the cooler.
You do not need to change what you drink. Slide the cooler onto the can, crack it open and take the first sip: “Otsu.” It helps keep the drink cool, makes a cold can more comfortable to hold and helps reduce condensation.
