Cheers to today! 乙 OTSU Can!
After giving it your all, you deserve a cold reward. But pouring your drink into a glass means another dish to wash. Drink straight from the can and your hand gets cold, condensation gets everywhere—and you want that first sip now, while keeping the rest cold. The “OTSU” Can Cooler makes a well-earned drink simple, comfortable, and satisfying.
Japanese has konnichiwa (こんにちは) for “hello” and kanpai (乾杯) for a toast. Otsukaresama (お疲れ様) works differently: coworkers use it as a greeting or sign-off, and it is often heard around after-work drinks, before or alongside kanpai.
The phrase combines o (お), tsukare (疲れ, “tiredness” or “fatigue”), and sama (様), a respectful form of address. Together, they respectfully acknowledge someone’s effort and the fatigue that comes with it. Depending on the moment, otsukaresama can convey “good work,” “thanks for your hard work,” or a warm acknowledgment that the day’s work is done.
It is a warm, thoughtful phrase—but it can feel a little formal or heavy. Its lighter, slangy shorthand is otsu (おつ), often written with the single kanji 乙. For today’s drink, slip “OTSU” over the can and raise it to yourself and the people who made it through the day with you. An easy little luxury, with no ceremony required.
The pale, cool-textured design evokes the chill of ice water and a clean, refreshing glow. Just slip it over your usual can. In both function and appearance, it turns an ordinary drink into a moment that feels special.

ありがとう (Arigatou / Thank You) — A T-Shirt for Recognizing What Is Truly Precious
In everyday Japanese, “thank you” is normally written in hiragana as ありがとう (arigatou). This is the form Japanese people commonly use in everyday writing.
The word can also be written in kanji as 有り難う, although this form is much less common today. These kanji reveal the deeper meaning behind the familiar expression.
有り comes from 有る (aru), meaning “to exist” or “to be,” while 難 means “difficult.” The word comes from the older Japanese 有り難し (arigatashi), literally meaning “difficult to exist.” In other words, something arigatai is rare, precious, and never to be taken for granted.
Nothing is simply a given. When we recognize how extraordinary it is that something—or someone—exists at all, we begin to understand what arigatai truly means. That realization becomes gratitude, and gratitude becomes the word ありがとう: “thank you.”
This T-shirt features the words for “thank you” in languages from around the world. They are scattered across the design. The world is overflowing with “thank yous.” They help keep it round—whole and harmonious—yet they can be hard to notice.
If we treat everything as a given and forget gratitude, the world around us begins to fall apart. That is why I want to be able to notice “thank you,” feel it, and express it.

Turn Weakness into Strength — The 「たん所は長所」 T-Shirt
The message on this shirt, 「たん所は長所」, is both a piece of Japanese wordplay and a visual transformation.
In Japanese, tansho (短所) means a weakness, flaw, or shortcoming, while chōsho (長所) means a strength, merit, or positive quality. In this design, tansho is playfully written as たん所. The two hiragana characters た (ta) and ん (n) are creatively reshaped and layered so that together they resemble 長, the first kanji in 長所. In other words, the lettering itself transforms “weakness” into “strength” before your eyes.
How we use our weaknesses—and how we choose to look at them—can change our future. This message was born from my own journey as a person with a disability: facing the parts of myself I once saw as shortcomings, learning to turn them into strengths, and using them to carve out my own path in life.
Weaknesses, insecurities, and failures—we do not have to hide them. This T-shirt carries the belief that we can transform them into sources of power and use them to move forward.
Take that first step. Embrace a more flexible way of thinking, look at yourself from a new perspective, and believe in your own strength.
